 What is ERP !! Enterprise resource planning 

 It is ready-made software that can be used to record all business transactions in detail. there are many more modules from which selecting basic requirements may reduce the risk of implementation failures.

ERP system is the most confusing system implementation in the business world. No company has reached the target of the utilization of ERP systems by more than 40% due to various implementation and understanding issues by the clients and ERP vendors. 

There are situations where some companies have prosecuted ERP vendors due to implementation failures. In order to avoid all the issues of the implementation, a basic understanding of the client's responsibility is vital. 

 In most cases, top management may approve the project considering the investment cost but don't evaluate the capability of the organization to plant an ERP system. The capability of the organization to implement the ERP system  revolves around :

a. Existing logical sequence of the current process 

b. Identification of every item in the company with a logical code and logical description

c. Identification of the logical unit of measurement system for every item 

d. Requirement of internal documents and reports

e. Requirement of external documents and reports

f. Understanding hardware requirements

g. The sufficient number of data entry operators to run the system 

h. Detail understanding of the vendor agreement
